Any lease ranging from 1 night to 180 nights is classified as a short-term rental. These properties are typically listed on dedicated platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, Hopper, and booking.com, helping ensure broad exposure to verified guests and insurance protection.
What is the cost of partnering with Stayplus?
As your rental partner, we only earn when you do. Our services are valued at a 20% share of total booking profit after taxes and any associated channel fees (for example, some platforms may charge around 3%). Cleaning and laundry fees are covered by the guest. Any additional home-improvement costs would be discussed beforehand and billed separately on a per‑case basis if needed.
The 20% service fee per booking includes: Property Management (inspections, consultation, maintenance quotes); Marketing (professional photography, appealing listings across multiple channels, realtor partnerships, targeted ads); Rentals (multi‑channel listing, operations management, data analytics to maximize income); Hospitality (24/7 guest availability, check‑ins/outs, concierge services, local insider’s guide, housekeeping, essential toiletries and linens).
How do we get paid?
From the total profit generated from a booking, 80% goes to the owner and 20% to Stayplus. We charge each guest before arrival so you are paid on time without handling payments directly. Payouts are deposited monthly after the guest is scheduled to arrive to help ensure a smooth check‑in. You will receive a monthly report highlighting earnings and recommendations based on insights.
What does insurance include?
Our listing channels provide coverage that typically includes $1M USD in property damage protection and another $1M USD in insurance against accidents for every booking.
Who interacts with guests?
We handle all aspects of rental operations and guest interaction at every step of the stay to deliver an optimal, needs‑based experience. You will also receive access to a manager’s portal (rental operating software) to view reservations and guest information live at your convenience.
